Instructions

Step 2: Prepare the Crescent Rolls

  • For the Casserole : Press the crescent roll dough into a 13x9-inch baking dish. Spread the cooked sausage and diced bell pepper evenly over the dough.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic salt, and black pepper. Pour this mixture over the dough and top with shredded cheeses.

  • For Cinnamon Sugar Crescents : Unroll the crescent dough and brush each triangle with melted butter. Mix sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle generously over the dough. Roll up the triangles and place on a baking sheet.

Step 3: Bake

  • Bake the casserole for 35-40 minutes or until the eggs are set and the cheese is golden brown.
  • Bake individual pockets for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Bake cinnamon sugar crescents for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden.

Step 4: Serve

  • Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs or powdered sugar if desired.
